  3. Why Twitter is better than Facebook

    Facebook has long dominated the social media world as the largest social network and Twitter has been the only real threat to its existence over the past few years. Both are similar yet very different in what they do and how they work. Facebook might be bigger than Twitter but I personally think that won't last because Twitter - in my humble opinion - is currently better. And if it's better and does everything that Facebook tries but fails to achieve, then surely Facebook is on its way out?...

    With the rapid growth of social media, more and more companies are beginning to realise its value as a marketing tool. Over the years we have seen many brands create a strong social media presence, such as Dr Pepper or Comparethemarket.com (or was it Meer cat?). However, none have done it as well as Old Spice.

    Old Spice launched a campaign in February 2010 featuring ‘the man your man could smell like’ and has around 180 YouTube videos personalised for fans and celebrities as part of their “Old Spice Responses”...
