If Twitter and Facebook won't work, what next?

Have you got a business that isn't really suited to social media? Do you sell something that people just wouldn't want to follow on Twitter or like on Facebook? Has the only trade publication you ever advertised in suddenly ceased to exist because of the Internet's impact on the traditional media industry?

If you're a traditional business with a difficult product or service to market online, don't despair! There's lots of other things you could be doing to target customers and potential clients. Trust us! We help all of our clients to make the most of social media, but not as obviously as you might think.

You see, there's always options. And we're full of creative ideas to take your business out there and get back the increased web hits, enquiries and subsequent boosted turnover.

But beware! If an agency is advising you sign up to Twitter and Facebook alone - and you sell something like office stationery or face cream - be very very wary. Take a step back and consider your return on investment. And consider this - would someone really want to follow a face cream brand on Twitter? Seriously? Would they? Of course not.

Besides, it might be that social media isn't really where you need to be. It might be that you need an online advertising campaign or even traditional marketing support. That's the beauty of coming to people like us. We're not going to take your money just because we can. We're going to turn you away if we don't think we can help you - but we'll always give you options.

A professional agency or consultancy will always sincerely point you in the right direction. And if that means they don't get your business, well then that's not an issue. The important thing is - we're ethical! And we only get you on Twitter and Facebook if we think it's necessary. And if we don't? Well, there's plenty of other things we'll suggest. Things that will get you serious results. So if Twitter and Facebook won't work, what next? Come to us - we'll point you in the right direction.
